Nigeria is known for having these kinds of problems. People have to be very careful when going for these kinds of offers in Nigeria. There are many dishonest folks out there. Having said that I still get people who are happy in Nigeria.

A company inviting you for employment should pay for your visa, etc.

Lonestar Drilling employment and banking scam

In recent developments here in Nigeria with a company named Lonestar Drilling Nigeria, it should be point out while the company is promoting itself as acquiring drill barges it needs to be a fairly balanced announcement with their internal strife as the employees have unrest. This company is filled with shameless characters, liars and thieves. In your article on the company awhile back it read a glowing story but it needs to be fair and advise good businessmen to stay away.


We ask the most simple questions as WHY is their ships still not working in the field but parked in a free trade zone, why has it sat since December, why are the banks are reworking their loan and why wont companies enter into contracts as they now have to protect themselves and demand to be paid upfront in cash for equipment and services. Many of us have been harmed. They received the Deal of the Year award from AfreximBank http://www.afreximbank.com/afrexim/en/Ne…loftheYear.aspx and since then have broken all the rules in doing business and as a result within the Rivers state judiciary now there are 7 lawsuits filed, many more forthcoming; and in the USA 4 suits filed in federal court. It is important to shout out to the community that this company should be avoided as they dont pay their bills. Save us from crooked business dealers please. Their bankers tell us all is well, not true, the banks are now doing everything they can not to rock the boat because if lonestar enters into bankruptcy they will not get their interest payments and its a tremendous amount of money. They dont pay their employees on time !! Warn good hard working people !!!
Honesty and integrity are the values we must work with and now the banks are forgetting this very important value as they tell us lies

Help all businesses be aware

The bankers will tell you that the lawsuits have been "taken care" of.... NOT TRUE.... Lonestar is attempting to re-do the values of these suits and come to some agreement.... those companies involved are feeling pressure to re-negotiate because the company should go bust. Save our houses from these housebreakers
