who was your first offshore job through????

Have sent my CV off to about 10 different offshore recruitment agencys however as hhave had no offshore experience im unlikely to get a job. I am a qualified electrician and mechanic. But will start anywhere to get offshre exerience.

Who was your first offshore job with??? to give me an idea on who will consider new starts?

It really depends on which region of the world in which you live. Have you thought about applying to onshore jobs with oilfield companies? A lot of people start off working onshore either working on land rigs, at oilfield service companies' service centers, manufacturing facilities. They prove their worth working here, and then are transferred to the offshore position that they hope for.

There are various resources on how to get a job in oilfield that you can look at.
